One on One Feedback

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual counseling involves working one-on-one with your therapist with the focus being on progress towards your goals and needs. This space has the benefit that it is just you with no interruption from others, which can be the case in relationship and family counseling, and this can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and the possible struggles you are facing.

Children and adolescents can also benefit from individual counseling, but depending on their needs, caregivers and/or family will likely be involved in this process to varying degrees.

RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING

Intimate relationships can take on many different forms (e.g., monogamous, polyamorous, open, casual, asexual, etc.), but regardless of the configuration, there are a number of reasons people seek out relationship counseling – not all of them are because there are problems. Working with a relationship therapist can create a space to address your goals in a neutral space with someone trained to balance the needs for the individuals as well as the relationship. Remember, there are no wrong reasons to seek out relationship counseling.

FAMILY COUNSELING

Family counseling provides a space for all members of a family system to address concerns that could be impacting several individuals within the system. The goal of family counseling is to work together and help guide a family toward a common goals(s), whether that be solving family problems, improving communication, handling family situations, or creating a better home environment.
